Traffic!
Yo! Here is a little picture of typical traffic on a typical Bangkok, which makes for a not-so-typical bike ride. We spent the afternoon on a private biking tour, exploring all around the central part of the city. We saw some amazing things: markets, pagodas, food stalls, people, animals, etc.. In total about 22km, (13 miles). A little crazy but after a while even biking through the traffic was fun!

Yeah, oh my gosh. At first I was terrified, but when I got used to it, it was so much fun! Never would have made it to the back alleys by ourselves. At one point the alley was so narrow that the pocket of Christian's shorts got caught on a parked motorcycle! Same shorts that pulled off the kitchen cupboard. The bike moved but didn't tip thank goodness.
ReplyDeleteTime for some new shorts, Christian.
ReplyDeleteone tough pair of shorts!!!
ReplyDeleteI love you two. Glad everything is going well. Sounds like a wonderful and adverturesome trip. Love your blog....feels like I am there.
ReplyDeleteWow! Their traffic looks worse than ours, even without road construction! Leslie
