Hoi An is a world heritage site and was a major international port during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Know what that means? Lots of old buildings and old pottery that came from traders all over the globe.
We stopped in several protected buildings during the day. Many of which double as museums or community centers. Many thanks to Rick and Randi, and Lee Ann for an educational and fun day!

ReplyDeleteYou are both still smiling and the hats are lovely. Stay happy. Auntie
ReplyDeleteWell, glad you're having such a culinary adventure also.
ReplyDeleteTonight I'm having Kraft Mac and Cheese (with cut-up hot dogs) in your honor. Nice.

Hi Christian and Jen—
ReplyDeleteI love that you're having such an enjoyable trip and are so positive about everything.
I ran into Chris (your Thai chef) at Cub last night. He was chatty and says "hello"! He said he saw a couple of people from the wedding at the farmers market.
