English weather

It is a dreary and wet day in Devon today. If, however, you happen to be at a cozy 15th century rectory, it is the ideal weather. Our schedule: Tea, reading, a soggy walk in the woods, tea, conversation, a nap, tea, debate about which pub to patronize, pints of bitter, fish and chips, and probably more tea.

The Homies are 1 win away from a Park National League Championship!

  1. Yay, Go Homies, who ever you may be. I'm still hoping that the Vikings are smart (and brave) enough to recruit Brett. Then they will get my attention. You are getting closer to home now. Enjoy the tea. Love ya, Auntie

  2. It a delightfully wet and dreary day in Richfield.
Been waiting for this rain for a long time. Your day in Devon sounds just great (substitute Coke for tea).

Watched "The Ruins" last night...not bad, but not quite up to the book. Enjoying Netflix.

  3. INDEED! Lakers choke. Homies need to win tonight. We beat St. Louis Park last night 9-1 (rain ended the game in the 6th). Homies are awaiting your triumphant return. You should see the look on people's faces when I tell them we've been rolling while you've been gone. I enjoy it immensely. 'What's that sirs? Yes, we're only going to get better.' PO

  4. What a life, you guys. Rain and news of the Homies success makes for a great day here! Perhaps you should long toss a pint or tree limb in preparation for your return, Christian.

    Love, Mom
